Step 1: We set it up in your home
I install a private AI on a capable computer in your apartment. If you already have one that's powerful enough, we use it. If not, I'll recommend the right one before you spend anything.

Step 2: You talk to it like any AI assistant
Ask questions, summarize letters, draft emails, or make sense of a statement. It works much like the assistants you may have heard about.

Step 3: Nothing leaves your apartment
Your conversations and documents stay on your own computer. No outside company sees them, stores them, or learns from them.

How do I know I can trust you?
I've been part of the Maxwell Place community for four years and volunteer on the events committee, so you may already know me. We can meet first in the Maxwell Place lounge before I ever come to your apartment, and my full work history is on LinkedIn.
Do I need to be good with computers?
Not at all. You don't need to know any terms or have any experience. I explain things simply and without jargon, go at your pace, and you can ask the same question twice.
Do you come to my apartment?
Yes. I live at Maxwell Place, so I come to you. If you'd like to meet first, we can sit down in the lounge.
Can you help without coming over?
Yes. If it's easier for you, I can help by phone or video call.
Is the private AI really private?
Yes. It runs entirely on a computer in your home using free, open software. Your questions and documents are never sent to an AI company. It even works if your internet is down.
What kind of computer does the private AI need?
It needs a reasonably powerful computer with plenty of memory. Some newer computers already qualify. I'll check what you have and give you honest options before you buy anything.
